Injectable Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers can achieve facial skin lifting. Collagen stimulation with ELLANSÈ^®– is a composition of synthetic PolyCaproLactone (PCL) microspheres as a dense round particle and a carrier gel, consisting of Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC). Due to its unique properties and safety profile, Ellanse offers skin firming and lifting via the body’s natural response to induce collagen. Only one session is required for achieving long-lasting results between 1-4 years.

Collagen stimulation with Sculptra^® – a synthetic, biocompatible and biodegradable injectable material known as poly-L-Lactic acid (PLA). It is a unique facial volumising agent that stimulates natural collagen growth. Sculptra treats the underlying causes of facial ageing and provides natural-looking, gradual results for up to 24 months.

Collagen and elastin stimulation with RADIESSE^® – is an injectable, completely biocompatible dermal filler, composed of microspheres of synthetic Calcium Hydroxylapatite. The microspheres are suspended in a natural gel, with an immediate effect lasting for around 12, sometimes 18 months. It offers “V-shape” treatment for hollow cheeks to restore volume and creating the appearance of prominent cheekbones.

The choice of filler would depend on many factors such as facial anatomy, age, medical history, allergies and any previous surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures. Different facial fillers offer different results.

There is an immediate effect with most of the dermal fillers. The collagen-stimulating therapies such as Ellanse®, Sculptra®, and Radiesse® work over the time and take 4-8 weeks to develop maximum results with positive changes in skin quality due to their dual mode of action as volumisers and collagen synthesis stimulators.

Dermal fillers break down over time depending on the area treated, so further treatment may be required to maintain your natural, understated appearance.

Most dermal fillers these days can last 6-12 months with longevity in cheek area for up to 18 months. Results from a collagen-stimulating treatment such as Sculptra® can last up to two years and Ellanse®  up to four years.

It is advisable to attend the clinic without any makeup prior to the treatment and avoid the use of skin care, containing retinol and Alpha-Hydroxy-Acids (AHA) acids 2 days before. Sometimes, a mild topical anaesthetic cream is offered prior to the procedure to make it more comfortable.
