Hyperpigmentation

The colour of skin and hair is mainly due to the amount of brown melanin pigment, produced by specialised skin cells melanocytes. The melanin production can be affected if melanocytes function is damaged as result of sun exposure or some hormone changes. This results in uneven, darker patches of on the face, décolletage, hands or wider areas of the body, called hyperpigmentation or melasma.  Although, they are harmless, they can be source of concern for many people.

Information

There is no cure for hyperpigmentation due to complex mechanism, however there are very effective non-surgical treatments to reduce the pigmentation.

We will advise you on a bespoke treatment plan at your initial consultation, after conducting the skin assessment by one of our highly trained practitioners. The best results for treating sun, age or livers spots can often be achieved using a combination of methods and specialised skin care regime at home.

Chemical Peels includes the compound of fruit acids and antioxidants to improve the skin tone and brighten the skin. We offer Perfect peel®, particularly effective for acne without any preparation, required with visible results within several days post-treatment.

Plasma BT® has an outstanding effect regenerating effect on the skin. Plasma increases skin elasticity and collagen production whilst reducing pigmentation and oil production. It is able to sterilise the skin and destroy bacteria. The treatment can also dramatically improve the effectiveness of cosmeceutical products by up to 120% through improved absorption.

Medical grade skin care and SPF sun protection care are specially selected for your skin needs to achieve the most effective results. We work with dermatologically approved brands on the market such as Obagi®, ZO® skin ranges as well as NeoRetine® and Heliocare sun protection.

Genuine Dermaroller and EDS (e-Dermastamp) are also known as medical micro-needling, specifically designed to give greater control over intensive skin needling procedures while reducing any discomfort. The treatment stimulates your skin so that it will regenerate and repair itself naturally, resulting in smoother, brighter, younger and healthier looking skin.
